Customers tend to be printing mail merge jobs very inefficiently and expensively by splitting them up across departmental Laserjets and running them as fully-composed PostScript pages.

Business Process:

Develop the VIPP application in the PC-based Lytrod Designers, the leading GUI in Xerox’s VIPP Made Easy workflow. Proceed as follows:
-Create document text in word processor and save as RTF (rich text format)
-Import text into Lytrod Designer
-Import delimited data file into Lytrod Designer
-Drop data fields into document
-Save as VIPP
-Transfer VIPP files to DocuPrint hard disk
