|
Lytrod Software GraphicArts VI Designer product is a user-friendly variable data layout tool. Sophisticated one-to-one marketing pieces can easily be created from database delimited data. Layout images from any graphic arts package (Quark XPress, Adobe InDesign, etc.) can be utilized for efficient variable data processing and printing. The Microsoft Windows GUI interface includes wizards and drop-down menus for easy drag-and-drop data placement. A simple personalized letter or complex rule-based job is created without user scripting. Specialty Imaging effects (Glossmark® Text, Correlation Text, FluorescentMark Text, MicroText, and Infrared Text) for document security can be applied to static and variable text (additional font purchases are required for some effects). Benefits
User defined variables Creation of counters, field “change” comparisons, concatenated fields, variable formatting, extractions, transforms, and calculations. Variable font formatting Data-driven text can be formatted with kerning and Pantone, CMYK, or RGB color palettes. CMYK and RGB image files GraphicArts VI Designer allows the import of industry standard image formats such as PDF, EPS, TIFF, and JPEG. Background image files Multiple background files can be defined. Background images can be defined statically or through conditional logic. Conditional logic support for images & text Define print images and text data-driven rules Multi-up imposition & z-sort support Allows for multi-up duplex functionality frequently required for applications such as personalized postcards. Z-sort function allows stack sizing to maintain postal sorting order in cut sheet operations. Custom multi-up positioning supports Dutch Cut imposition. Page level logic Sophisticated page processing. Page actions (print, don’t print, insert page) can be implemented on a rule-basis. Media tray calls and subset finishing features can also be conditionally/rule- based. VIPP project containers GraphicArts VI Designer can automatically transfer required VIPP job resources to the proper directories on a networked printer’s hard drive. This is a real time saver. Containers zip all the printer resources in one easily managed file. |
