The Xerox® Color 800/1000 Presses offer an option to print a light gloss coating of Clear Dry Ink. The challenge is the application of Clear Dry Ink in a Variable Data Print (VDP) workflow. Proform Designer creates VIPP templates that invoke the Clear Dry Ink to fill text and objects (circles, lines, boxes, polygons) in static, variable or conditional (rule based) environments.

Notice the eFlyer on the left, the variable text <<firstname>>, in this case "Jamie" is marked in Clear Dry Ink. This is done in the text color menu and because Lytrod uses the Xerox VI Interpreter for composition, you don't need to create layers or run your VI job through a slow, cumbersome Graphic Arts workflow. In addition, objects can also be filled. You can see the CIRCLE fill in the blue ornament, and box fill in the bottom potion of the "11"; in addition you can create and fill polygons as in the bottom portion of the "2". In Proform Designer, not only can you easily create this objects, and fill them with colors and CDI you can also make them variable based on information in your data!
