Clear Dry Ink
![]() The Xerox Color 800/1000 Presses offer an option to print a light gloss coating with Clear Dry Ink. The challenge is the application of Clear Dry Ink in a Variable Data Print (VDP) workflow. Proform Designer creates VIPP templates that invoke the Clear Dry Ink to fill text and objects (circles, lines, boxes, polygons) in static, variable or conditional (rule based) environments. Lytrod Software's unique support of the Xerox VIPP DDC model allows application of Clear Dry Ink with a simple click of your mouse eliminating complex and expensive graphic arts workflows -- freeing your staff to get to the work of printing, not prepress. With Proform Designer, adding a little shine to your application is as easy as enabling the Clear Dry Ink setting within an form object's Color Selection Window. Using Lytrod's Path Draw tool, a path was drawn around an object where the Clear Dry Ink is to be applied. Access the Color Selection Window and set the desired percentage of Clear Dry Ink to be applied to the area chosen on the form. By using variable images with a combination of filled paths, boxes or circles, any image can have different areas uniquely defined with Clear Dry Ink. |
